History of MGSS Flacq
“Knowledge leads to immortality”. With this truthful saying by our guru, Gandhiji, the students of Mahatma Gandhi SS Flacq do their best for the benefit of society.
Operational as from the 11th of January 2004, MGSS Flacq stands majestically in Avenue François Mitterand. The school is a very high demand school of the region, a testament of the community’s belief. We enjoy brand new infrastructures comprising different specialist departments. Students are thus able to actively participate in several activities and get proper monitoring through the facilities available to them.
We are proud of our students, who have shown their hidden talents through various competitions over the years be it in the CATs Convention, the Model United Nation (MUN), Constance La Gaiete Award, InnovED Project and many more. Such activities can but enhance their team spirit, communication and leadership skills.
The school prides itself with its excellent academic record as can be judged from SC and HSC results and the number of students having secured Scholarships. Our boys and girls, along with their good behaviour and positive attitude are well appreciated by members of the community.
